Public engagements
A public lecture series titled Talk Series on “Ebb and Flow: The Development of Family Business” (「潮起潮落:家族企業的發展」講座系列) (details here) was held at the Hong Kong Museum of History in November – December 2016 and a total of 12 case studies on family businesses in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan were presented at the lectures.
Methodology
Qualitative research was conducted on historical archives, newspapers, and secondary texts.
Related Publications
An edited book on the proceedings, titled Waves Washing the Sand: Why Some Family Businesses Success but Some Don’t (《大浪淘沙:家族企業的優勝劣敗》) (details here), was published in November 2017.
