Hong Kong Key Research Project Mainland China Social Attitudes 

Objectives
• To track sociopolitical attitudes towards Hong Kong and mainland China
• To examine the public’s satisfaction with public institutions and with their overall quality of life

Methodology
The first telephone survey of this longitudinal project was conducted in April 1998; the 34th and 35th surveys were conducted in October 2014 and April 2015; the 36th and 37th surveys were conducted in October 2015 and April 2016; and the 38th survey was conducted in October 2016. Starting from 2017, the surveys have been conducted annually. The 39th one was carried out in October to November 2017 and the 40th one was carried out in October to November 2018.
