• To examine on social history of Hong Kong through people and places in and around Hollywood Road

Public engagements
A public lecture series titled Lecture Series on “A Kaleidoscope Named Hollywood Road” (「荷里活道萬花筒」講座系列) (details here) was held at the Hong Kong Museum of History in December 2017. A total of nine case studies on influential political and business personages who lived or operated in and around Hollywood Road at Central and Western District were presented at the lectures through perspectives on the social history of Hong Kong.
Methodology
Qualitative research was conducted on historical archives, newspapers, and secondary texts.
Related Publications
An edited book on the proceedings, titled Hollywood Road: In search of things past (《荷李活道：尋覓往日風華》) (details here), was published in July 2018.
