Objective
• To examine the social history of Hong Kong through people and places near Bonham Strand

Public engagements
A public lecture series titled Lecture Series on “Bonham Strand: When East Meets West and South Meets North” (「東西南北文咸街」講座系列) (details here) was held at the Hong Kong Museum of History in December 2019. A total of 12 case studies on important people and places near Bonham Strand were presented at the lectures through perspectives on the social history of Hong Kong.

Methodology
Qualitative research is being conducted on historical archives, newspapers, and secondary texts.

Related Publications
An edited book on the proceedings is expected to be published in 2020.
